In today's weekly newsletter, we will cover some more updates from the world of AI. But before that some updates at our end:
As we continue to engage with our community, I have noticed that many of us struggle to keep pace with the latest developments in AI and its applications. Moreover, with the increasing popularity of chatGPT and other AI-powered tools, it can be challenging to understand what is possible and how to use these technologies to our advantage.
To address this, I am starting a monthly AI meetup series over Zoom, where we can stay connected, learn from each other, and explore the exciting world of AI. Our goal is to make these meetups a space for quick revision, knowledge sharing, and hands-on learning.
Over the next year, I will be holding multiple online meetups, each focused on a specific topic, such as:
The agenda for each meetup will be to: - Explain how current tools can be enhanced using AI - Share code and build open-source tools that harness the power of generative AI - Quickly revise some of the previous posts on AI and discuss what is coming up next
I am excited to bring this initiative to the community and I hope that you will join us in this learning journey. The first meetup is scheduled for Saturday, 25 Feb between 11:30 - 12:30 GMT. If you would like to join, please head over to https://everydayseries.com/events/.

Open Source Tools
We requested the community to give us ideas on various open-source tools that we must create and share as a community. And wow, what a response have we got!
The community suggested and voted on various ideas (ideas are still pouring in!) and some of these suggestions are:
🗒 A tool to summarize daily messages on WhatsApp groups. 📚 A tool which can act as an engaging Hindi novel writer 👨 A tool to find leads from WhatsApp conversation archives. 😎 A text to Image filter creator 💻 Generative AI-based SEO meta tags generator 🖥Blog banner image generator with blog link as input 📑A tool that can provide a summary of open tabs and categorize them in a neat and organised manner 🤖A single platform to use chatbot and midjourney together 🦈Shark tank simulator 🖊️Author-bot/👩🔬Scientist-bot /🔥 AI as an economist / 🎹AI as a music teacher🧑🎤
If you have any ideas or would like to join to build such tools, please reply to this newsletter.
